LUCKY 13 FOR PIRATES

Pirates continued their good form with another big home win, this time dispatching Kilmarnock Thunder as they recorded a comprehensive 13-1 home win. The home side were never in trouble and scored at regular intervals throughout the match, the highlight perhaps coming in the final session when, defending a two man disadvantage, a Martyn Guy break led to the big defender seeing his shot saved by goalkeeper Anderson, only for Blair to net the rebound. Paisley Pirates are back in action this weekend as they take on Kilmarnock Thunder at Braehead Arena on Sunday evening (face off 6.00pm).   The club had a weekend’s break from matches and Head Coach Ian Turley is looking forward to getting back into action after the team’s inactivity.   He commented, “I was happy enough that the boys had a weekend off as they’ve worked hard over the past few weeks.
